Saperavi ist wohl die bekannteste und beliebteste autochtone rote Rebsorte Georgiens. Sie ergiebt sehr dunkle kräftige Rotweine mit dunkelbeeriger Aromatik.
Verführerische Aromen von Rosinen, Feigen und würzigem Zimt treffen auf zarte Süße von Toffee und Vanille. Am Gaumen entfalten sich dunkle Schokolade, kandierte Orangen und feines Eichenholz. Der lang anhaltende Nachhall aus Honig und Vanille verleiht diesem Brandy eine unwiderstehliche Eleganz und Tiefe.
Die Nummer
jeder jährlichen Cuveé, z. B. 244, steht für die 244. Weinlese seit der Gründung des Hauses Louis
Roederer 1776.
Die Komposition 244 vereint in sich die Trauben des Jahrgangs 2019 kombiniert mit der Frische der 2012
von Roederer angelegten Réserve Perpétuelle und Reserveweine ausgesuchter Parzellen, deren Ausbau gemäß
der Tradition Louis Roederers in großen Eichenfässern erfolgte.
Da sich 14 Weingüter die ausgezeichnete Lage "Erdener Prälat" von nur 1,5 ha teilen müssen, ist dieser Wein von 50 bis 100 Jahre alten Reben leider sehr limitiert.
Die Ordensfrauen der "Domaine de la Solitude" in Martillac, haben Bewirtschaftung der Weinberge bereits 1993 an die Famillie Bernard von der "Domaine de Chevalier" übergeben. Die Trauben werden per Hand gelesen und das Team der Familie Bernard bringt ausgezeichnete Qualitäten ins Glas.
Vollmundig mit natürlicher Fruchtsüße und üppigen Aromen von Pflaume, Kirsche, Feige und überreifen Beeren. Am schönsten zu dunkler Schokolade oder gereiften Käse.
Wunderschön ausbalencierter Schäumer. Fein cremiges Mousseux, etwas Brotkruste in der Nase und elegante Apfel-und Birnennoten mit leichter Mineralik am Gaumen.
Im Osten der majestätischen, schneebedeckten Gipfel der Anden liegt in der Mitte des Landes das bedeutendste Anbaugebiet Argentiniens – Mendoza.
Von den dortigen steinigen Verwitterungsböden im kühlen Hochland der Andenausläufer, stammen die Trauben für die traumhaften Weine der Familie Catena.
In der Nase Pflaume, dunkle Beeren und Kirsche unterlegt mit feiner Gehölznote. Im Antrunk fein und elegant mit Kirsche und etwas Himbeere, im Abgang lang mit Noten von Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade.
Ein Cuvée in alter Rhône-Tradition: Shiraz mit einem Schuss Viognier, dieser macht das Rot intensiver und den Wein harmonisch rund. Allerdings war man hier in Australien ein wenig großzügiger mit dem Viognier Anteil.
Eine mediterrane Besonderheit aus vier autochtonen Rebsorten. 10 Monate Fassreife verleihen dem Wein mit seinem fruchtigen Stachelbeeraroma eine angenehme Würznote.
Gemäß Winemaker Callie Louw ist es in erste Linie der Boden des Porseleinbergs welcher den "Porseleinberg" zu einem großen Wein macht. Das ist natürlich tiefgestapelt, denn ohne sein sehr feines Gespür wann der Winzer einwirken sollte, wäre der "Porseleinberg" nicht das was er ist: ein sensationeller und atemberaubend aromatischer Syrah.
Eine dichte, opulente Cuvée mit sehr feinkörnigen Tanninen.
Ein Gaumenschmeichler mit Noten von reifen Pflaumen und dunkler Kirsche und würzigen Röstaromen.
Das Kirchenstück ist die höchst bewertete Weinbergslage der Pfalz. Schon 1828 erkannte man die Sonderstellung des Kirchenstücks unter den Pfälzer Weinlagen und bewertete sie daher mit der höchsten Punktzahl. Durch die ortsrandnahe Lage erhält das KIRCHENSTÜCK eine klimatische Sonderstellung: Die Sandsteingebäude und die kniehohen Mauern, die das
Kirchenstück eingrenzen, speichern die Sonnenenergie am Tage und geben diese in der Nacht wieder ab.
Schönes Spiel von beeriger Frucht und kernigem Tannin. Vollmundig und trotzdem Elegant. Zwischendurch schimmert Pflaume, Kirsche und auch etwas zart Vegetales hindurch.
Ein außergewöhnlich guter Jahrgang im Haut-Médoc. Der Ch.Fontesteau zeigt viel schwarze und rote Frucht von hoher Intensität. Am Gaumen ist er füllig und dicht.
